Season Ahead: The Warriors
Exclusive Interview with captain Rafael Forster and vice captain Souleymane Koffi.
We meet with the Warriors captains in one of the jacuzzi rooms at the clubs vast state of the art training complex. Captain Rafael Forster is one of the clubs long standing players from the clubs initial conception, hes seen big changes in the club, from the days of being top ten in the world to the club focusing on breeding new talent. Souleymane Koffi is a fairly recent 7million pound signing, who since joining the club has really improved leaps and bounds.
When we asked how the players feel about moving to the SFA for new challenges, Koffi replied “Personaly i feel it was a cop out leaving the PFA, we’d ended up runners up three times in a row in the youth league, i’d preffered to have stayed in the PFA and had another crack at the one man team, Benchwarmers.” Koffi then recieves a icey glare from his captain Forster who adds “Obviously it’ll make a great change and bring freshness to the club playing in a new FA.”
We then asked who the lads see their main rivals being, Forster answers after pausing for thought “I think all the teams involved in the youth leagues in the SFA look pretty good on paper…” Koffi then butts in with a laugh and adds “Even the one man Bojan team in PFA where better than all this legless misfits of the SFA, we wont have ANY rivals here, i expect us to make a clean sweep of the competitions” There then ensues bit of pushig and shoving from the two players and we’re ushered out of a side door by security.
