My poor team since the last update have been underperforming, we’ve been dropping down the rankings like a stone (7th to 20th I think). So ive decided to take a break from a FML, tho I have been popping back for the odd beating haha.
On checking my email account this morning I noticed that I hadn’t received any mails about my ranking or financial state. Normaly if your offline and you receive a ingame mail this mail will also be sent to your email account too, very handy when your not near a PC but can use your phone to log into your email account (Google and AOL do wap email). So i trieed to log onto FML, and got squat…
It turns out that the servers went down last night at some point, after sifting through various SI forum posts it turns out that the aircon at SEGA HQ and in turn this ment the room were there servers are got rather hot and you guessed it they all shut down!
Latest update is the aircon has been fixed and theres someone on the way to the servers to power up the firewall and get the servers up and running, so fingers crossed all those FML addicts will be able to get there fix sometime time tonight.

David Beckham, everybody loves knows him, global sensation, a legend. At the start of the season i decided to bring in Beckham to not only boost my clubs reputation but he is awsome attribute wise. At cost of £400k i thought he would be a bargain even if i only had one season out of the legendary 33 year old, he also wanted a wooping 35k wages, as it was early in my clubs career i decided that the large wages wouldnt be much of a burden so i went for him. Suprisingly nobody else bidded for him so the wages didnt get pushed up any more.
The Tinkermen at SI decided to play about with player values and wages, and wow did it mess with good ol’becks. His value dropped to 90k and he wanted 9k wages (this after i signed him), then they decided another tweak was in order, 190k and 18k wages was the change after the update. Well here was poor me paying him 35k.
The Warriors league season has now reached the 30 game mark which and with only 8 games left to play im pretty sure ive been successful and secured my place in the top division of PFA, so I decided to shake things up in my team, what to change…
Beckham! Even tho hes been awesome for me ive noticed a constant dropping of his attributes, and by the end of next season hes probably going to pretty old and rubbish so I decided to sell him on. Im very impatient and after putting him up for sale I decided that maybe id be better off loaning him out as after 5minutes id had no bids, so I put him up for loan, 21days and 100% wages paid by the loaning club was the stipulation, swoosh, he was quickly snapped up by Athletico Virgs, after one game for them I decided to tempt fate and challenge them to a match. During the match I received and offer of £300,000 for Golden Balls, you guessed it, private bid accepted.
So that’s that, Beckham after 106 games, 26 goals and 65 assists, has left he club. Him leaving has left me with a very healthy 600k in the bank and a wooping projected cash of £2,600,000!

And finaly, heres my profile screen. Financialy we’re doing ok, should start building up the cash now. Doing alright in the rankings too.
Heres the league table for the PFA Qualifier League 1, we’ve got 4 Qualifier groups, top 5 go to the premiership and the best 3 6th places. Im pretty confident we’re gonna finish in the top 5. One to watch in our league is Reesys Boys, there actaully number one team in the World Rankings, but theyre only playing one game a day so they hold onto there top spot aslong as possible, pretty crappy and cowardly in my opinion, but everyone is entitled to play the game how they please.
Quick update on my time in GW6. This is my current squad, i’ll probably have this team until the end of the season and then i’ll look at where we need to improve. Beckham has to be the stand out signing, i paid 400k and wages of 35k, the update to value and wages so changed that (after i signed him) you can see in the picture the huge drop in value and wages that he is now, that really annoyed me, but when he plays as well as he does i cant really complain. Lupoli my star striker took a little while to get into the rythem of the squad, i signed him cos we werent scoring enough goals and he seems to be doing the job.
Lets first ask what makes a Live Arcade game and wether FML as it is ticks all the boxes…
Download under 50mb in size? Yup!
Achievements? Yup!
World and Weekly Rankings? Yup!
Obviously theres been no word from Sports Interactive that FML will ever be released on the Live Arcade, but their publishers are SEGA who have quite a few games already on the Live Arcade and are well known in the console industry. SEGAs Phantasy Star (on 360) is also pay by subscription and runs on its own dedicated servers, so it is very much (to me) a possibility that at some point FML while join its big brother Football Manager (offline) onto the 360. Theres just so many things already in place at SEGA and in the FML game, that keep making me wonder that if the game is as hugely successful as its destined to be, that we can expect to see it gracing our 360s sometime in the future.

David Beckham has left the free agency and joined Primetime Football Association side Mitsubishi Warriors. The 31-year-old former England captain will sign a two season deal, reportedly worth £1,960,000 and a transfer fee of £400,000.
Beckham said: “This week Warriors asked me to make a decision regarding their offer to sign me. After considering several options to stay on holiday or join another major British and European teams, I have decided to join upcoming Mitsubishi Warriors.”
The near £2m deal is understood to include full cluses that make him freekick, penalty and corner taker, and will see him handed the captains armband.
In a statement, Beckham continued: “I would like to thank the supporters and people of Madrid and United who have made my family and I feel so welcome in my time at the clubs, making this an extremely difficult decision to make. I am proud to have played for two of the biggest clubs in football. I now look forward to the new challenge at The Warriors and turning them into the next big club and hopefully leading them to UFFA glory sometime in the future.”
LA Galaxy manager Robert Webb believes Beckham’s arrival will give worldwide exposure to the high standard of football at Mitsubishi Warriors. He told BBC Five Live: “One of the interesting things that I think people are going to see, is first off, the attention he’s going to bring to the club, people are going to see the quality that exists here, and I fully recognise that many people over in England don’t have a grasp of what’s going on with The Warriors on or off the field. But the fact is that we have a young competitive team, competitive young individual players and a very good and growing Primetime Football league. It’s not that we can’t get better and I would put our federations teams up against some XFA teams in a second”
Beckham left Manchester United in July 2003 to sign for Real, who paid £25m for the midfielder’s services. However, in the three-and-a-half seasons since his arrival, the Spanish giants have failed to win any major trophies.
Last season has proved particularly disappointing for Beckham, who was dropped by England coach Steve McClaren and then fell out of favour with Real boss Capello.

Last week I was moved from GW3 to the all new GW6, and wow going from a 500 member GW to a 1000 member GW is a huge change, and defiantly a lot better. Putting together a team at the start is very difficult, but its worth plodding thru and picking your own players than letting the ingame wizard do it. With only £500k to spend on players nobody can buy the big stars, I spent about 5 hours putting together my squad of only 14 players, this beginning is a very important time in the gameworld, if you manage to put together a good little squad it gives you a huge advantage.
My squad is made up of a good experienced back 4 and goalie, then my midfield and attacking players players can all play in multiple positions and the important part is they are young and full of potential. As my second half of the pitch is made up of a good bunch youngsters this has given me a huge advantage in the U21 games, im currently ranked the best U21 team and I am currently unbeaten in youth matches.
The main problem in the first 24 hours is the fact you don’t get daily income projected into your finances, as soon as that money starts to come into play and if your doing well it rapidly starts to improve, my daily income started like everyone else’s at £100k, now after only about 3 days im already upto a cool £172k. Which means im now able to bid on players upto to a value of about 800k.
My best players are probably Aquino, Fofana, Aaron, Banega and Lautaro Acosta, and should as there young get better and better, and be important players for my team for many seasons.
